The independance treaty of the United States was signed with the Great Britain in the Rue Jacob and it is in homage to this event that the hotel owes its name.

The rue Jacob leads you to Saint Germain-des-Prés church and to the famous terraces of the café de Flore and the café Les Deux Magots. When you will finish to stroll in the fashion boutiques or antique shops, come back to the hotel and taste a true moment of calm after the extreme livingness outside.
